1. What is Pundit?

Pundit is a PHP framework.. It does all sorts of weeeird stuff… Its currently in pre-beta version or something like that - the state also known as Works for Me (TM).

2. Where can it do for me?

A lot. And nothing. Simultaneously. It’s basically a framework, so it will save you some time, but not all of it.

3. Requirements for running Pundit

There are quite a few requirements for running Pundit on your server - but they basicly boils down to this:

• PHP 5.2+
• PDO - PunditDb uses the PDO extention as the underlying lbrary, so PDO and relevant drivers are a must
• Apache webserver (could use others if you could do the equiv. of the .htacces file listed in 2.3)
• Nerves of steel! Pundit have pretty much only been tested my be. One really shouldn’t assume that anything works - but go ahead and try..

4. Who makes Pundit?

Pundit is made by Morten Fangel, partly to use as a foundation for the site Useful Account. Pundit is currently © Morten Fangel. In a not so distant future Pundit will be released under LGPL The latest release of Pundit can be found at https://svn.sevengoslings.net/pundit (still not LGPL, but that time will come).
